SISTERLOCKED AND LOVING IT!
ONE DAY LATER!
Sorry, page may take awhile to load!

After two days of wonderful bonding time with my consultant, I am proudly SisterLocked! I wish the camera was a little better to show you how beautiful she made the locks!

I can't believe how tiny and precise they are! I know I have around 450 locks! The above picture was taken 1 day after I had my locks!

The funny thing is, I feel like a lot of the women who have locked their hair but still have relaxed ends. I WANT TO CUT THE RELAXED ENDS OFF! I just want my natural hair! But I have so many different lengths because of all the damage done to my hair that if I were to do that, my hair would be sticking up EVERYWHERE! So I have to practice patience and wait until my hair grows out enough!

I used a curling iron to bump the ends and that is it! I have no itching at all and I can't keep my hands out of my hair because they feel so neat! (SMILE)

The Top of My Head
I am not worried about the parts showing because I know it will all fill in.

OK, this is the part where my hair is "TORE UP!" This is that area that is so damaged and by the picture you can see that! Basically anywhere the color is darker is where my hair broke off! That area is so much shorter than the rest of my hair because of the relaxer damage! Well we shall take some pictures once my locks fill in and grow and we will compare them! Should be fun!

That picture is a prime example of what can happen when you use a relaxer on your hair. It is so damaging not only to your hair but to your spirit as you comb your hair and pieces break off. I am so happy that I don't have to worry about this anymore!

Basically the next day I lounged around playing with my hair! (SMILE) I wetset it and braided the front so when it dried, it was kind of crinkly! But then I cleaned the house and went outside so this next picture, my hair is kind of windblown! But I still love the look and think it's cute! The reason why I took this picture is to show you a little more detail. You can see by the little lock in the front just how small they are.

Here is one lock that I pulled out. Notice the difference between where the lock ends and my relaxed hair begins! I can't wait to cut it ALL OFF! (SMILE)

Well thank you for sharing my first day with me! I will be posting pics again very soon!

Much Love, Yvonne
