The name 30 Seconds to Mars, was originally thought of as Life On Mars, in reference to the David Bowie song. Their history is a puzzle, but they're talent is not. Their debut self titled album is a melodic, explosive album that could catapult them to Stardom. It was thought that Leto just had the idea to just hit the studio and record a full-blown album. But apparently these guys have been on the scene for a while. According to the Leto brothers, they've been playing up and down the West coast of California, doing unanounced dates and most of the time changing they're name each show. As for their trademark glyphics...dont ask. The best they can say is that they represent 30 Seconds to Mars.
With actor turn singer Jared Leto leading the band, and the dynamic new sound the band has nearly perfected, don't expect these guys to fade away anytime soon.*
