Melanie Jayne Chisholm was born on the 12th January 1974 in Whinston Hospital in Liverpool. When she was three her parents split up, divorced and soon re-married. She has several half brothers :- Paul, Jad, Stuart, Liam and Declan and one half sister, Emma. She spent most of her childhood living in and around the suburbs of Liverpool (Widness, Rainhill and Runcorn). Now she has a flat by the Albert Docks, Liverpool and another flat in Hampstead, North London.
