Jeff had one of the most amazing voices you will ever hear. He had the ability to move you tears, remind you of love, break your heart and then leave you smiling all in one song. I have never been moved by someones lyrics and music as much as i have experienced with Jeff. Unfortunately i was just discovering Jeff when he tragically drowned in the mississipi river. An event that i still cant believe happened. A tremendous loss. If you havent heard Jeff's music before i highly recommend Grace, his first and only studio album. A magical experience, and i promise that you will never forget Jeff once you have heard his voice. |

Album Discography: 1994 - Grace 1998 - Sketches (For My Sweetheart The Drunk) 2000 - Mystery White Boy Jeff Buckley only released one album during his life time, the magical 'Grace.' After he drowned in the Misissippi River in 1997 his band mates and mother joined together to compile the songs that Jeff had been working on at the time of his death. The album he was working on was to be called 'My Sweetheart The Drunk,' hence the title 'Sketches for…' This year saw the release of an album of live recordings from Jeff's career called Mystery White Boy, as well as a video relaease and a tour by his mother and band member Michael Tighe to get in touch with the fans, and answer their questions. Thank you Mary, we appreciate your efforts & I love jeff xxx |
