Stratford-Upon-Avon (William Shakespeare's birthplace)

Stratford-Upon-Avon is still a bustling city in England. Stratford is the city's name. Upon-Avon means the city is along the River Avon, the same river running by Warwick Castle. Down the main street in the city is where playwriter and poet William Shakespeare was born in 1564. His dad made gloves to support the family. When the house became his he later sold on a quest to London. The new owner of the house opened an inn and named it Swan & Mary inn & pub. Well, he accomplished his quest and his final house was in London. He died in 1616 at the age of 51.
