Omaha Beach is where one of the major landings on D-Day was. The other major one was at Utah Beach. Above is a picture I took of the statue at Omaha. This is a beach where you can swim in English water. That's right, you'd be swimming in the English Channel. The channel is where General Eisenhower sent the troops across by boat and air.
