When the Eiffel Tower was finished it was the tallest building in the world. That is, until the Empire State Building was finished. But a few years after it was finished, people wanted to take it down. But, it was such a landmark, that it still stands today in Paris. The restaurant on the tower is by far the most expensive restaurant in all of Paris, France. Do you know what Eiffel Tower is in french? It's La Tour Eiffel.
