Tomodachi and Visual Kei

Sorry, I skipped a few days! I found the details getting boring, so the site's getting leaner and meaner.

First off, my computer is up and running, just as it was in America, so that's good news.

I've also been buying lots of CDs... somehow I've got 35 CDs all of a sudden... where the hell did they all come from?!

Among the highlights, La'cryma Christi's Sculpture of Time ain't so hot, Vasalla's Aurora is okay, though not as heavy as I had expected from other stuff I've heard.

I got Luna Sea'a Image and Mother (Y550 each, hehe)... I also snagged the Luna Sea video collection Eclipse I for Y800, and it's cool if you like their early stuff. I don't, with the exception of Wish, Rosier, and True Blue, the latter two having PVs on Eclipse I, hence the buy.

I also bought another copy of Style (Y580), also with the dark casing and painted cover -- because remember how that other copy I bought -reeked- of burnt flesh? I decided I couldn't stand it any longer!!! So now I've got two copies!

Ha ha, also, Image had STICKERS in it! Five photos of the band! How cool is that?

I also saw an early Pierrot album -- I assume it's their first. I wasn't even sure it was them when I got it, but inside, it's got Kirito -- on guitar! And Kohta on mohawk, and Ken, too, with long hair, but it must be them. It's ~horrible~! Like, you know those songs a carousel plays? Well, like that, only with the carousel tumbling into a bottomless crevasse and hitting every protruding rock on the way down. For Y880 it's okay, I s'ppose... and there's always Ebay, I guess!

Far better is Finale (Y1200), Screen (Y500), and the Creatures single (Y500) (with a cloth cover)... and the Prototype II DVD (Y1200) with the bonus DVD footage -- just 10 minutes of each of the guys talking to a camera, very dull. I think they were complaining about having to sit down and talk about making extra features for DVDs. I like their sense of irony.) I'm really glad I got it -- the singles for Creature and Agitator remind me of karaoking at Sing Sing with everybody. I miss doing that! <sniff>
