The Lulls

The Lulls
New Bedford, MA
site:The Long Lost Lulls Archive

The Lulls were: Brad Caffeine (guitar/vocals), Civi Tarese (noise guitar/vocals), Shawn Concinha (bass), Tom McAphee (drums)

This is where the Hello Doll empire began. the band started up as Brad's project, but Civi soon entered the picture and they began taking turns with the writing and singing duties.

Heavily influenced at the time by the Pixies, Dandy Wahols, and the whole Nirvana/grunge thing, The Lulls had enough ideas in them to release a slew of singles, EP's, and a full length CD in their short life span.

The band took what was expected to be a hiatus sometime in the summer of 99, not long after their CD came out, and within a few months Brad had finished his first solo album, which proved more promising than he had expected.
