Lonnie Bills

E-Mail:

"I first met Lonnie back in 1999 sometime at an open mic on the U-Mass, Dartmouth campus. we both were frequents, and in my opinion, he was the only performer that i'd really be looking forward to seeing each week. he had something about him... an ability to be insanely funny, and yet be giving you one hundred percent honesty from his heart all at the same time."
~Brad Caffeine

Lonnie Bills has been writing songs since just about the time he was born. of course those early ones weren't so great... i mean there's only so many times you can hear the songs "When I Was Just A Lil' Fetus" and "Headin' Back To The The Amniotic Sac" before they lose their charm.

However, by his college years he had really gotten a hang at writing songs, singing, and playing a guitar. the latter two skills he could do at the same time even. and with heart-string tuggers like "If My Arms Were Longer", "Favors", and a wide array of covers, he won the hearts of many a college student.

His first recording to materialize commercially, Practicing My Handshake was released early in 2001, and he is constantly working on new material, both as a solo artist, and with his band The Pillow Biters.
