factor eight played the second annual Blues in Schools Battle of the Bands, competing for a chance to open up the widely known Ottawa Bluesfest. Guitarist Andrew Bergeron donned an acoustic guitar for the show, and a great half hour set ensued, containing more somber versions of tracks like "See Your Face Again" and "In It For The Chase". Although the band did not win, a great time was had by all and the band looks forward to playing again next year.
