factor eight have confirmed an upcoming show on Friday, May 9th. Taking place at Cafe Dekcuf (221 Rideau St. (upstairs)) at 9pm, factor eight will be the first of three bands playing that night. It should be noted this show is not all ages but rather a 19+ show. Admission is $5 in advance and $7 at the door, and tickets are currently available through any members of the band or through factor_eight@hotmail.com. Also on the bill include local act Nameless Faces and headliners Tier 3.
In other news, after being selected as one of the eight finalists for the Ottawa Idol contest, vocalist Becky Abbott has secured an audition May 7th for the CTV network television show Canadian Idol. More news to come as it happens!
