factor eight will not be opening for GordonGartrell on January 2nd, 2003 at Zaphod Beeblebrox. Due to previous commitments of guitarist Jeff Logan, the band thought it would be better to cancel. factor eight apologizes to all those looking forward to seeing them on that date, but promises that more upcoming shows are in the works.

Updates to the site include two new shows in the Shows section, and nine new pictures of the band in action at John McCrae in the Pics section.

factor eight has entered once more into the studio to record more material. Working with producer Pete Gilroy at Pebble Studios, factor eight is planning on recording three new songs which will hopefully be ready for release in early February. More details are to come as they happen.

factor eight has also confirmed one upcoming show over the month of December. Taking place Thursday, December 19th at Bumpers (580 Bank St.), factor eight will be playing on a two band bill along with local act Seismic. The show is 19+, and commences at 8pm, with ticket prices slated to be $5 at the door.
