This past Thursday, factor eight auditioned for the Nepean Student Showcase Jam. Check back later to find out whether they will be on the bill for the November 16th show at the Nepean Sportsplex.
factor eight has been in touch with Kirk Ellard (producer on the acoustic versions of Free and See Your Face Again) about recording at Ottawa's premier recording studio, Distortion Studios. The band is considering recording Free and Wounded for an upcoming "plugged in" demo and hopes to have the project started in mid November.
The band has also completed mixing on a newly recorded song. Entitled "Wounded", the song is to appear on Superstar Records forthcoming compilation of local area high school bands. They are not sure if they will release it on their mp3.com site yet.
