Administration and Facilities
Administration Building
Administration and most of the faculty offices are located here, with classrooms for all classes except for performance arts and science labs.
Stuart Library
A full multi media experience! This library is chock full of academic periodicals, newspapers and non fiction material. Along with a nice selection of fiction books, magazines and education videos. Plus if they don't have it, they know where to get it! Also in the lower level is a small computer lab.
Dumont Chapel
Host of a non-denominational service every Sunday at noon, along with a Roman Catholic Mass on Saturdays at 5 PM. Father Mac takes confession here, also counsels in his office which is located off the rectory.
Alumni Athletic Center
A gift from several wealthy Dumont alumni, this athletic center boasts a state of the art training room, a sauna, Olympic sized swimming pool, diving pool, basketball court, and ice rink. A new feature, recently added is a suspended cat walk above the basketball court for running or walking (non competitive). The grounds of the Athletic Center includes a baseball diamond, a soft ball diamond, soccer field, football field, and full track and field facilities.
Bourbon Student Center
A joke among students, for although it was named for a French royal family, the upperclassmen do in fact run an underground bar. The above board attributes of the student center is the cafeteria in the lower level (capacity 1000), a large computer lab on the main level, along with a smaller cafe for snacks. Several study rooms are located on the upper floor, along with a reception hall. The college bookstore is on the main floor. Security's main office is located here also. Requisite vending and change machines are located here.
Victorian Experimental Theater
This looks like a warehouse, but inside there are three theaters. One theater is traditional, with the performance taking place on a slightly elevated stage in front of an audience. The second theater is depressed with a surrounding audience space, like an amphitheater. The third stage is at level with the audience, also surrounded. Theater and Dance productions take place here.
Plantagenet Music Building
This building is host to several instructional classrooms along with a performance theater of its own, specially modulated for musical performances. It also has several acoustically suitable practice rooms for small or large groups.
Witten Science Building
Recently renovated, it now has the most modern science labs. A new addition is an indoor arboretum for botany and ecological studies. It is topped with an astronomy observatory and small planetarium on the top floor, the globe topped with a Marvin the Martian motiff, courtesy of the Class of '89. In back is a full ecological reserve.
