Background:
Product of an affair between a waitress and a wealthy resort owner, Jason ended up in his father's custody after a battle over him. Monica adopted him and treats him like her own. He hasn't seen his mother since he was six months old nor does he have any inclination to. He lived the golden life as the golden child, favored above his brother AJ, who was an alcoholic. He liked to help people and tried an intervention on his brother when he was fifteeen that ended disasterously in a car accident.
That accident left him in a coma for over a month. When he awoke he had no memory of his past or who he was. Through intensive therapy and constant coaching, he has either remembered his past or been taught it, he's not sure. He fell into a rough crowd willingly and did many stupid pranks and stunts that landed him in jail a couple of times. The power of his family was what saved him from having a criminal record.
Upon graduation of high school, he attened Dumont as an undergrad and got his degree in psychology. He was admitted into the graduate program and one of the conditions is teaching psychology lectures and doing research. He also got duped into being an RA and they can't find a replacement fast enough.
