Background:
Her father was a businessman from America, her mother a local girl. They met,
fell in love, got married and had Gabby all in one year. Unfortunately,
Gabby's birth was unattended. She came early, and her father was out of the
country and her mother couldn't make it to the hospital.
A neighbor heard Gabriella's screams and finished delivering her daughter, only
to have Gabriella die moments afterwards. Mark rushed back, and named his daughter
after her mother. They lived in Belize for a few more years until Mark was
transferred back. Reluctantly he returned to the United States with his
young daughter and provided the best life he could for her. They went back and forth between Belize and the US, as Gabby has dual citizenship. He spoiled her
and loved her unconditionally.
She went to public schools and graduated in the middle of her class. She was
an unexceptional athlete. She doesn't know what she wants to do, but knows she'll
find it. She chose Dumont because her father went there.
