Success in this life is the greedy mans goal,
In money and wealth the rich will roll,
Oblivious to the next they fail to contemplate,
The meaning of their being and their ultimate fate.
Success in the next is the pious mans aim,
He avoids temptations and roads to all fame,
He succumbs to the laws and will of Allah,
In the way of his Lord he travels afar.
Prayer is the road to the success of the strong,
With this such worship no one goes wrong,
At times when it seems that you’ve been out done,
Realise that you, are on a trial run.
If your prayer is weak and your success is strong,
Realise my sister/brother that you have gone wrong,
For Allah will give you this life,
For the next in return,
Instead of the pleasure,
In Akhira you will burn.
