DUAS

"Allahumma aafena min kulli balaaid dunya wa azabil qabre qa azabil akherah." -  (O! Allah save us from every distress of the world and torment of the grave and of the day of Resurrection.)

"Ya muqallibal quloob! Sabbit qalbi ala dinek." - (Oh converter of hearts! Keep my heart tied to your way i.e. ISLAM)

 "Rabbana zalamnaa anfosana, wa illam tagfir lana wa tarhamna lana koonanna minal khasereen." - (Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves; if Thou forgive us not and have mercy upon us, indeed, we shall be ruined.)

 "Rabbanaa afrig 'alaina swabrawn wa thabit aqdamana wanswurna 'alal qowmil kafeereen."  - (Our Lord! Pour out steadfastness upon us. Set our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.)

 

Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement , pomp and mutual boasting among you , and rivalry in respect of wealth and children, as the likeness of vegetation after rain , thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller, afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow, then it becomes straw. But in the hereafter (there is) a severe torment ( for the disbelievers , evil-doers), and (there is) Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure ( for the believers , good-doers ), whereas the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment."

The Holy Qur'an 57:20.




"Rabbanaa atena fidunya hasanatawn wa fil akherate hasanatawn wa qena a'zabannar." - (Our Lord! Give unto us (that which is) good in this world, and (that which is) good in the Hereafter, and keep us from the torment of the Fire.

"Same'na wa anta'na gufranaka rabbana wa ilaikal ma sweer." - ( We hear, and, we obey. Thy forgiveness our Lord, (do we implore) - and unto Thee is (our) journeying.
