Your Host, Shannon X. Caine

HOME

Shannon X. Caine is the host of The Caine Interviews, a production which has now branched out from an independent TV studio in Arkansas to the much wider audience of the Internet.

Caine has taught university-level English, served in multiple literary editorial positions, been employed by several libraries, and maintains a keen interest in history, theology and music. She is involved in outreach with many fraternal, civic, and non-profit organizations, and has won awards in oratory, creative writing, television, and music. She attended college on both music and academic scholarships. She's a former radio DJ and newspaper columnist, and has been involved in animal rescue. She's a journalist, published poet, essayist and fiction writer (sometimes under pseudonym). She has a notoriously quirky sense of humor, and is interested in subcultures of all sorts. She has been a longtime afficionado of "outsider" writing, music and art. Caine currently resides in the Ozarks with her spouse and her beloved Miniature Pinschers.
