THUR:07:06:00: authorunknown plans on doing a split 7" with anyone who offers quite soon. all that we ask is you play fucked up, weird music, nothing generic. preferbly a band in the emo-violence/ noise/ experimental-hardcore/ grind genre of things. anyone who wants to do it should contact us as soon as possible. we will probably press 500 copies at united for about 580 dollars. split the records down the middle, half and half. its a good way for an up and coming band to do a slab a vinyl for half the price. also, we would like to do something neat like have the first 100 covers be silk screened and hand made. if anyone thinks they would interested in this eclectic "project", please, dont resist from e-mailing us right away!!!
TUES:07:04:00: well the site and all that shit is almost completely up. i really hope kids enjoy it. if they dont, they can go suck an egg. i'd like to comment some more on the rumors that authorunknown is chan and katie ruptured. thats bullshit. they are our dear friends and while they do play a big roll in AU, i.e. doing our e-mail, booking shows, etc..., they are not in the group itself. yes, you could come to the authorunknown compound at any time and probably see them there, but thats because they are our friends. we choose to keep our identities secret due to the fact that people from all over the world are trying to get the formula for the east-cide goat noise. they want to master the fine art of ghetto violence and by doing so they will destroy anything noise-related in the process. the B16 anti-virus that encodes the first strands of noise in our future releases is a very complex and scary thing to deal with. people without the knowledge of handling it could easily destroy all that we have created. that is why we are unknown.
