| Introduction |
| [The sold out crowd of 600 cheering fans come to their feet as "We Die Young" by Alice in Chains kicks in. AWA's Riptide flickers to life on diehard viewers' television sets courtesy public access Channel 77 throughout the great state of Virginia. Eventually, the cheering dies out as the unique pairing of Harvey Shultz and Julius Jamal Jackson make their way into the Smoky Mountain High School gymnasium and to their commentating position.] Harvey Schultz:: Hello, folks, and welcome to Riptide, live in front of this sold out crowd in Sylva, North Carolina! J.J. Jackson:: Yes, I'd like to say hello to muh Mee-Maw, who's at home watchin' on T.V. tonight!Hi Granny! Harvey Schultz: Well, now that we've gotten that IMPORTANT announcement out of the way, let's get down to business. J.J. Jackson:: Word. Harvey Schultz:: Whatever you say, Buckwheat. Anyways, tonight, we've got a stacked card that will knock your socks off. The undercard is filled with great matchups, not to mention a brutal ladder match, a dual-title tag team match, and in the main event, a Lumberjack match between arch-rivals Corleone, and heavyweight champ HaZe! J.J. Jackson:: Yeah, not only that, but I heard that Pafection was s'pota be comin' out here toni...! [Jackson is interrupted as "Painkiller Introduction" by Professional Murder Music starts up. The crowd immediately boos in recognition of the music as Richard Cormier steps out from the back in a nice suit and tie with a microphone in hand. Cormier enters the ring and waits for the crowd to quiet as the music fades out.] |
| Here come the Lumberjacks! |
| [Cormier brings the mic up to his mouth as he looks out into the crowd with his greedy eyes. They continue to boo him as he removes the microphone from his mouth, rolls his eyes, and walks around the ring for a moment. Again, Cormier brings the microphone to his mouth, and again, the fans boo him. Cormier ignores them and continues.] Richard Cormier:: I'd just like to inform all of you fat, filthy farmers that jealousy will get you nowhere! [Hearing this, the fans begin to boo him tremendously as he laughs to himself. He holds his hand up to his ear, acting as if he can't hear them, infuriating the crowd even more.] Richard Cormier:: Now, I'm not out here to waste my time looking at you fat tubs of lard, because quite frankly, you make my violently ill to my stomach. You really do. Harvey Schultz: Cormier's lucky that there are guardrails and security guards outside the ring, or these people would tear him limb from limb. Richard Cormier:: There reason I'm out here is to bring out the eight men that will serve as Lumberjacks for tonight's main event between Corleone and YOUR Heavyweight Champion...HaZe! [Upon hearing the Enlightened One's name, the crowd hisses.] Richard Cormier:: Let's bring 'em out. The first Lumberjack...Pyro-Maniac! [The crowd boos as Pyro makes his way out from the back.] Richard Cormier:: Machine! [The mob of fans let out a mild boo as the giant lumbers out from the back, accompanied by his manager, Viktor Krauser.] Richard Cormier:: James Nightbane! [After a slight delay, Nightbane comes out from the back and shields his eyes from the light with his hand as he slowly makes his way down to the ring.] Richard Cormier:: Steve Zapf! [Zapf heads out to the ring, receiving a somewhat disapproving reaction from the fans.] Harvey Schultz:: Judging from these Lumberjacks, things aren't looking too good for Corleone... Richard Cormier:: Damn, I said eight men, didn't I? Well, I'll just bring out the other four men right now. Chameleon, Pest, NyGhtMaRe, and Mandrake... [Cormier trials off, seemingly uninterested as the quartet of men head out from the back to a massive ovation from the crowd. As they near the ring, Pyro-Maniac sprints towards the ropes, dives over them, and collides with Pest on the outside! Chameleon slides into the ring and immediately begins laying into Zapf with some loud reverse knife-edge chops. Nightbane climbs out of the ring and goes straight for NyGhtMaRe as Mandrake hops up onto the ring apron, staring down the mountain of a man, Machine. The crowd erupts as all hell breaks loose and Cormier heads for higher grounds.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, it's obvious that there's no love lost between any of these men. [Pyro-Maniac and Pest are both up trading rights and lefts. Pyro goes for a big right hook, but Pest blocks it and catches him with an uppercut, knocking him over the guardrail into the crowd. Pest hops the guardrail as the two men brawl through the falls. Nightbane and NyGhtMaRe scramble around on the outside of the ring as Zapf gains control of Chameleon inside the ring. Machine approaches Mandrake on the ring apron, but the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil uses the ring ropes to slingshot himself under the bottom rope between Machine's legs. Mandrake is quickly back up to his feet and bounces off the far ropes, then nails Machine with a flying back elbow, sending Machine backwards over the top rope where he lands on his feet on the arena floor.] Harvey Schultz:: Mandrake sent Machine out of the ring over the top rope, but Machine landed on his feet! [AWA officials storm the ring, led by Bruce Vohland. The officials attempt to separate the men as they clear the ring of everybody but Chameleon, Steve Zapf, and referee Mitch Horton. Some of the AWA Superstars continue to fight all the way back to the lockerrooms as Chameleon and Steve Zapf continue to duke it out in the ring.] J.J. Jackson:: Yo, this reminds me of Saturday nights on Thebes and 5th Street... |
| Standard Match: Steve Zapf vs. Chameleon |
|
[Mitch Horton calls for the bell as the last of the AWA officials disappear behind the entrance curtain. Zapf backs Chameleon into the corner and lays into him with some heavy boots.] Harvey Schultz:: Man, all of this fighting, and we're just now starting our first match! I'm surprised they got that mass of bodies out of here already. [Zapf nails Chameleon with a few right hands to the face, then Irish whips him to the opposite corner and follows right behind him. Chameleon leaps onto the second turnbuckle and springboards off with a cross body block onto Zapf. 1...kickout!] J.J. Jackson:: Why's that sucka wearin' a mask, Harvery? Harvey Schultz:: Chameleon is a wrestling legend in Mexico, and that mask is part of his heritage. It's a Mexican tradition. J.J. Jackson:: Messy Ken? Harvey Schultz:: What the...? Here, J.J., drink your juice box. [Harvey pulls a grape-flavored juice box out of a small cooler and hands it to J.J. in an attempt to occupy his mentally challenged broadcast partner. J.J. punches the straw through the hole and happily begins sucking away as Chameleon takes it to Zapf inside the ring. Chameleon connects with a running clothesline, then nails Zapf with a standing backflip splash, followed by a pin attempt. 1...2.kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: Chameleon is really taking it to Zapf as these two former stablemates get it on in the squared-circle. [Chameleon bounces off the ropes and goes for a Lou Thez Press, but Zapf catches him, lets his momentum carry them back, then falls backwards, catching Chameleon's neck on the top strand. Zapf goes for the quick cover. 1...2...kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: What a move by Zapf, he nearly took Chameleon's head off with that leverage move! [Zapf goes to work on Chameleon with a series of knees to the back of the neck, followed by a legdrop and a cover. 1...kickout! Zapf throws Chameleon into the ropes, and Chameleon rebounds, attempting a running clothesline, which is ducked by Zapf. Chameleon bounces off the far side, and Zapf nearly decapitates him with a Superkick. Zapf makes a sloppy cover. 1...2...kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: Chameleon barely escaped through the back door on that one. If Zapf would have hooked the leg, I think he would have got the pinfall. J.J. Jackson:: Hey Harvery, you got anymore of them juice boxes? [Harvey quickly tosses his colleague another beverage as Zapf wears down Chameleon in the middle of the ring with a headlock. Chameleon works his way back to his feet and shoves Zapf off into the ropes. Zapf rebounds, and Chameleon catches him with a Hurricanrana, then reaches back and hooks his legs. 1...2...kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: Whoa! Zapf can thank the heavens that he got out of that one. [Chameleon climbs up to the top turnbuckle and waits as a groggy Steve Zapf makes it to his feet. At the last second, Zapf shoves the referee into the ropes, causing Chameleon to lose his balance and fall crotch-first on the top turnbuckle!] Harvey Schultz:: An underhanded tactic by Zapf... J.J. Jackson:: Yo, cracka, you do what you gotta do. Am I right, or am I right? [Taking advantage of the situation, Zapf drags Chameleon out of the corner and plants him in the middle of the ring with the Cradle DDT! Zapf quickly covers Chameleon, hooking the leg as Horton makes the count. 1...2...3!] Harvey Schultz:: After some questionable tactics, Zapf picks up the win. [After the match, Zapf leans Chameleon against the ring ropes, then nails him with the Icepick, sending him over the top rope and out of the ring. Zapf then exits the ring and heads to the back, receiving a few boos from the crowd.] |
| Tag Team Match: Super Bastardo Bros. vs. Jack Korse & P.O.D. |
|
["Name of the Game" by Crystal Method hits the arena, and out come the Bastardos, Loki and Plaz. Several of the fans cheer them, while others continue to boo them. One of the young teenage boys in the crowd leans over the guardrail and tries to hand Loki a bottle of babyoil, but Loki simply takes the bottle and throws it on the ground. Loki and Plaz climb up onto the ring apron, looking out at the crowd with disgust before climbing through the ropes. As they enter the ring, their music cuts and "Dig" by Mudvayne starts up, immediately earning a chorus of boos from the crowd.] Harvey Schultz:: That's the Army of Two's music! What are they coming out here for? [Jerry Verboncour comes out from the back dressed in camo fatigues and an "Army of Two" shirt, along with his trusty helmet on his head. Plaz and Loki stare a hole through the veteran as he slowly makes his way around the ring to the announcer's position. Verb. removes his helmet and puts on a headset as he takes a seat beside J.J. Jackson.] Harvey Schultz:: Jerry Verboncour, what're you doing out here, and where's your partner, Billy Suggs? Jerry Verboncour:: First off, Harvey, Jerry says shut your mouth! Now, where is Jerry's tag team partner, Billy Suggs? He's sick or something, I think Horea gave him Herpes Super Simplex C or something. What's important is that your hero, Jerry Verboncour, has decided to come out here and donate some of his time to you and the fans. Harvey Schultz:: Super Simplex C? ["Meaning of Life" by Disturbed starts up as "The Freak" Jack Korse comes out from the back. The crowd shows their displeasure as he strikes a few poses. He then slides into the ring, where he's immediately jumped by both Bastardos.] Jerry Verboncour:: Look at these two douchebags. Jerry thinks that the Bastardos are a couple of no-talent losers that don't have a hope in hell of even competing with an Army of Two. Last week, Billy and Jerry completely destroyed them. Actually, all this talk about destruction reminds Jerry of this one time back in Nam... Harvey Schultz:: Sorry to interrupt you, Jerry, but some people question whether you were actually even in the military. Jerry Verboncour:: Are you calling Jerry a liar?! Harvey Schultz:: No, no, no... Jerry Verboncour:: Jerry suggests that you keep your mouth shut before he decides to shine his boots with your forehead! J.J. Jackson:: Heh, heh, heh... Jerry Verboncour:: What's this Charlie laughin' at? Listen to me, you fruitcake, Jerry's fixin' to smack you across the head, neck, chest, breasts, and genitals with his Congressional Medal of Honor if you don't shut that hole in your face! [Both announcer's sit in silence as Loki and Plaz continue to wail away on Korse inside the ring. Suddenly, the lights go out as the crowd gasps. When they resume, P.O.D. is in the ring, and he's got both Bastardos rocking with rights and lefts. Korse rolls over to his corner as P.O.D. clotheslines Loki over the top rope, then goes to work on Plaz in the corner as referee Perry Daton starts the match.] Jerry Verboncour:: Look at these two ass-puppets. They don't have a chance against P.O.D. and Korse. Jerry thinks they're much too small to compete with those two men. Harvey Schultz:: Well, Jerry, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the god. Jerry Verboncour:: Yeah, yeah. Jerry learned something like that from a little Viet-Cong whore back in Nam. How'd it go? Oh yeah, now Jerry remembers. It's not the size of the bone, but how you bury it! Harvey Schultz:: I'm not sure I follow you... [P.O.D. continues to pummel Plaz in the corner, then whips him across the ring into his own corner. P.O.D. stalks across the ring and grabs Plaz by the head, then slams his face into the top turnbuckle.] Harvey Schultz:: He just slammed Plaz right into that top turnbuckle. Jerry Verboncour:: He INTRODUCED Plaz's pretty face to the buckle! [Korse reaches out to P.O.D. for the tag. Prince of Death looks up at Korse, considers tagging him for a moment, the punches him in the side of the head, knocking him to the arena floor!] Jerry Verboncour:: That P.O.D. is one scary dude, but Jerry has faced far worse in the thick jungle. Harvey Schultz:: P.O.D., the younger brother of Pyro-Maniac, is really having his way with one half of the Super Bastardo Bros. [P.O.D. begins to choke Plaz in the corner while Daton attempts to pull them apart. An angered Jack Korse hops back up onto the apron and slaps P.O.D. on the shoulder, tagging himself in. Korse climbs into the ring, looks at P.O.D., points to the corner, and tells him to get out of the ring. P.O.D. looks at him for a second, kicks him in the stomach, and plants him with the Ride to Hell before exiting the ring. The Prince heads to the back with a twisted smile on his face as the fans cheer him on.] Jerry Verboncour:: Well, now that the Bastardos only have one opponent, maybe they'll have a chance. [Plaz looks down at Korse, then jumps up onto the top rope. The Con Man jumps off the top rope and connects with his top rope legdrop, then tags in his brother, Loki. Loki pulls Jack Korse to his feet and whips him into the ropes, then drills him with the Big Ass Boot, knocking him to the mat in the center of the ring. Loki tags Plaz, and both men head to opposite corners. Both Bastardos stand perched atop opposite turnbuckles, point to each other, then connect with the El-Blow Job on Korse. Plaz makes the cover. 1...2...3!] J.J. Jackson:: What?! The match is over already! Hey, gimme anotha juice box! Harvey Schultz:: The Bastardos pick up the win against P.O.D. and Jack Korse. That means that they'll get a Tag Team Title shot at next week's Riptide. Jerry Verboncour:: Jerry says that it doesn't matter who has the belts, because come Outshined, Army of Two will be the new Tag Team Champions! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have business to attend to. I assure you, the pleasure was all yours. |
| Send in the Army! |
| [Jerry removes his headset, grabs his helmet, and approaches the ring. He begins yelling at Loki and Plaz, and they approach him, telling him to get in the ring. Billy Suggs runs out from the back with his sledgehammer in hand, and the crowds' boos are deafening.] Harvey Schultz:: I thought he was sick or something! J.J. Jackson:: Are you sayin' that man gots the cure fer Herpes?! [Suggs slides into the ring, but the Bastardos quickly turn around and take him out with a double-clothesline and the sledgehammer goes flying. Verboncour slides into the ring wielding his helmet as a weapon, but Loki hammers him with a flying forearm smash, followed by a pulling piledriver. Suggs pulls himself back up on the opposite side of the ring as Plaz falls to a knee, holding his head. Loki turns around just in time to intercept Billy Suggs, who had his sights set on Plaz. Loki catches Suggs with the Big Ass Boot, knocking the Backwoods Barracuda through the ropes to the outside. Verboncour rolls out of the ring and stumbles around the ring where he finds Suggs. An Army of Two regroups and heads to the back as Loki checks on his older brother Plaz.] Harvey Schultz: The Bastardos have just cleared the ring of an Army of Two, but the real story is Plaz. He shouldn't have even been competing here tonight. [Loki tries to help his older brother up, but Plaz just shoves him away and rolls out of the ring. Plaz heads to the back, nearly falling on two separate occassions as Loki follows behind him. Again, they receive a few cheers from the crowd as they make their way to the back.] |
| Atlantic Championship #1 Contender Match: Ladder Match: Pyro-Maniac vs. Pest |
|
[A ten-foot ladder set up in the center of the walkway as a briefcase containing an Atlantic Championship contract is lowered down to about fifteen feet above the center of the ring. "Bodies" by Drowning Pool starts up as Brotherhood of the New Lights member Pyro-Maniac walks out from the back. The crowd's negative reaction is both brutal and immediate.] Harvey Schultz:: Here comes Pyro-Maniac, brother of fellow AWA Superstar Prince of Death. As far as I know, P.O.D. is still lurking in this building somewhere. You know that's gotta be on the mind of the Maniac. [Pyro makes his way down to the ring, knocking the ladder out of his way in the process, but before he reaches the ring, Pest runs out from the back with his own blue and green ladder. He charges down the entrance way and runs over Pyro-Maniac from behind. Pest begins assaulting Pyro on the outside of the ring with his ladder as referee Mitch Horton calls for the bell.] J.J. Jackson:: Hey, where's Pafection?! I wants ta see Pafection! Harvey Schultz:: Shut up and drink your juice box... [Pest slides his ladder into the ring, then pulls Pyro-Maniac up and rams him into the steel ringpost. Pest slides into the ring, sets his blue and green ladder up beneath the briefcase, and heads back outside the ring. Pyro is back up, and he catches Pest with a low blow. Pyro Irish whips Pest into the steel guardrail, then goes out and retrieves the ladder in the walkway. He comes at Pest with the ladder, but Pest rolls out of the way, and Pyro-Maniac crashes into the guardrail. Pest catches Pyro with a double axe-handle to the back, then hits a vertical suplex.] Harvey Schultz:: Oh! A suplex on the outside! He'll feel that in the morning! J.J. Jackson:: Hey Harvery, are there anymo' juice boxes? Harvey Schultz:: No. J.J. Jackson:: That's coo, that's coo. I got my own juice right here... [J.J. reaches into his vest and pulls out a 40 ounce bottle of Bud Light. Schultz just shakes his head as Pest throws the ladder into the ring, then throws Pyro into the ring. Pest climbs into the ring, then hops up onto the second turnbuckle. Pyro is back up, and Pest comes off with a double axe-handle, but Pyro nails him in the mid-section with a big right hand. Pest goes down as Pyro hits a running legdrop. Pyro-Maniac lifts Mr. Showtime to his feet, then throws him over the top rope out of the ring.] Harvey Schultz:: Pyro-Maniac has his opportunity right here. [Pyro begins climbing the blue and green ladder as Pest sits on the outside of the ring with a sick smile on his face, biding his time. As Pyro hits the last rung and reaches up to grab the briefcase, the ladder breaks in half at the top and the half Pyro is standing on falls forward, sending Pyro over the top rope where he crashes hard on the floor!] Harvey Schultz:: Pest's ladder broke in half, and Pyro-Maniac just landed hard on the concrete! I wouldn't be surprised if Pyro broke a few ribs, but obviously, the Maniac didn't do his homework. This is reminiscent of a great SWF ladder match between Pest and Billy Sadistic in which the exact same thing happened. [Pest rolls back into the ring with a big grin on his face. He kicks out the remanents of his blue and green ladder, then sets up the other ladder in the center of the ring. He makes sure it's positioned correctly, then checks it for stability before climbing. Miraculously, Pyro-Maniac begins to stir on the outside.] Harvey Schultz:: You know, it baffles me why Pyro-Maniac didn't just use the ladder provided for this match rather than Pest's. [Just as Pest reaches the last rung and reaches up for the prize, the rungs give way, and Pest falls to the mat!] Harvey Schultz:: That's why Pyro didn't use that ladder, it was rigged too, and he knew it! [Pyro pulls a standby ladder out from under the ring and slides it in under the bottom rope. Pyro slides into the ring and picks up the ladder as Pest stands and turns around. Pyro charges Pest and lays him out with the ladder. The Maniac kicks the other ladder out of the way and sets up his ladder in the middle of the ring. Pest rolls over to his stomach and begins to pull himself up as Pyro-Maniac closes in. Pyro grabs Pest in a double-underhook position, then lifts him into the air and piledrives him into the mat!] Harvey Schultz:: There it is! Hell-Fire! It's over! All Pyro-Maniac has to do is climb the ladder and grab the briefcase! [Pyro begins climbing the ladder, but about halfway up, the lights go out! Some of the fans begin to scream. When the lights resume, Prince of Death is standing in the entranceway staring at his brother. Pryo-Maniac looks at him for a moment, then drops down off the ladder and moves towards the edge of the ring. Just as Pyro bends down to exit the ring, the lights go out again, and when they come back on, P.O.D. is gone.] J.J. Jackson:: Who was that sucka? Harvey Schultz:: Are you drunk, fool? That was Prince of Death. He was just out here a few minutes ago... J.J. Jackson:: Oh. [While all this was going on, Pest has recovered slightly and pulled himself to his feet in the corner. Pyro gazes out at the walkway for a few moments, then turns around...right into a single-arm DDT. Pest then grabs him by the legs and locks on a Sharpshooter.] Harvey Schultz:: Pest has locked the Annoyance on Pyro-Maniac. He's gonna try to make it so Pyro can't even climb the ladder. [After wrenching on the Annoyance for a long while, Pest finally releases the hold. Pyro clutches his leg in pain as Pest begins to slowly ascend the ladder, still a little dazed from the Hell-Fire he received earlier!] Harvey Schultz:: Pest his slowly making his way up that ladder, and Pyro crawling over to the other side. [Pyro-Maniac slowly begins climbing the opposite side of the ladder as Pest nears the top. Pyro slowly begins to gain on Pest as Mr. Showtime reaches up in an attempt to capture the briefcase. Pyro fires a desparation right hand into the mid-section of Pest, and Pest responds with a series of right hands the knock Pyro-Maniac off the ladder. Pest reaches up and grabs the briefcase, then falls to the mat, exhausted.] Harvey Schultz:: Pest wins the match! Pest goes on to face the Atlantic Champion as Outshined! What a seesaw matchup between these two! [Angered, Pyro hobbles over to Pest on his bad knee and begins to hammer him with rights and lefts! Pest's valet, Perfection, comes out from under the ring with a leadpipe in hand and climbs into the ring. The crowd begins to cheer as she sneaks up behind the preoccupied Pyro-Maniac and crowns him with the leadpipe, knocking him out cold.] Harvey Schultz:: There's Perfection! J.J. Jackson:: Pafection?! Where that fine piece o' ass? [Perfection opens the briefcase, retrieves the contract, then helps her man to the back as the get a nice round of cheers from the crowd. Pyro lays in the ring as a small blood stain forms on the canvas beneath his head. He finally rolls out of the ring and makes his way to the back with a good-sized gash in the back of his head.] |
| Tag Team Championships | Tornado Match: James Nightbane & Machine vs. NyGhtMaRe & Mandrake | Atlantic Championship |
|
Harvey Schultz:: I'm getting word from the back that Pyro-Maniac has been taken to a nearby hospital to get stitched up. I guess Perfection laid him open pretty good. Wait, I'm also receiving word that there's been some sort of altercation between Mandrake and James Nightbane! [The shots cuts to the hallway beside the gymnasium, where Mandrake is laying prone on the tiled floor. James Nightbane is standing above him with a black baseball bat in hand.] James Nightbane:: Stay out of it, Mandrake. I warned you. [Nightbane drops the bat, then turns and walks away as the shot returns to inside of the gymnasium.] Harvey Schultz:: Stay out of it? Mandrake hadn't even done anything yet. J.J. Jackson:: Yet, Harvery. He woulda done sumthin'. o/` What have I done? o/` o/` I feel so bad, I feel so numb, yeah!o/` ["Feel So Numb" by Rob Zombie starts up and out walks James Nightbane. The crowd boos him as he walks down to the ring, unphased by the fans. He steps into the ring and waits patiently. "The Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson hits the gymnasium as Nightbane angrily shakes his head. Machine heads out to the ring, accompanied by Viktor Krauser. Machine steps into the ring over the top rope as Krauser climbs into the ring. Nightbane angrily approaches Machine and Krauser and begins speaking with them.] Harvey Schultz:: Can you hear what Nightbane's saying? He's telling Krauser he didn't want Machine out here. He's saying he wanted it to be just him and NyGhtMaRe. [Krauser looks at Nightbane with a smirk on his face and his arms folded in front of him. Having heard enough, Krauser spits on Nightbane's boot, prompting Nightbane to deck him. Machine immediately steps in with a thrust to the throat of Nightbane, rocking him backwards. Nightbane produces some mace from his black trenchcoat and sprays it in Machine's eyes, blinding the big man!] Harvey Schultz:: Krauser is outta the ring, and Nightbane's blinded the big man with mace! This is nuts! ["Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed hits as Kris Kartier sprints out from the back! The crowd goes wild as NyGhtMaRe slides into the ring. He and Nightbane go right after eachother, but Nightbane seems to be getting the better of the exchange as he rocks NyGhtMaRe with several right hands. Kartier ducks one of the right hands, causing James Nightbane to spin around. The Epitome of Hardcore siezes the opportunity and locks on the Karta-Hajime! The fans erupt!] Harvey Schultz:: NyGhtMaRe has it locked in, but Machine is still wobbling around, partially blinded. Wait, he's got Kartier by the throat! [Machine locks the Goozle on Kartier, causing him to release the hold. He then lifts NyGhtMaRe into the air and plants him with a chokeslam! Suddenly, Mandrake sprints out from the back with Nightbane's black bat in hand and slides under the bottom rope, causing the crowd to cheer loudly. He drives the end of the bat into the mid-section of Machine, then lays a good shot across the chest of Machine, knocking him out of the ring to the floor. Machine lands on his knees and begins clawing at his eyes, still blinded from the mace. Machine slowly stands as Mandrake rolls to the outside. He closes in on Machine, but the big man nails the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil with a big boot to the face. The bat falls to the ground, and so does Mandrake.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, Mandrake's out, and Perry Daton has finally called the bell to begin this match. [Nightbane rolls over to the corner to recover from the Karta-Hajime and begins digging around in his trenchcoat. Machine pulls himself back up onto the ring apron and steps over the top rope, but Nightbane pulls a tazer from his trenchcoat and electrocutes the big man, surprisingly dropping him to the mat!] Harvey Schultz:: That's the first time I've ever seen Machine down on the mat! He's just been pumped with several thousand volts of electricity! [Nightbane grabs NyGhtMaRe and rolls him on top of Machine as Daton makes the count. 1...2...3! Machine bench presses Kartier off of him a split second too late.] Harvey Schultz:: NyGhtMaRe and Mandrake are the new Tag Team Champions! I can't believe it! Why did Nightbane do that?! [Nightbane again reaches into his long coat and this time pulls out a black book. He drops it onto Kartier's chest, then rolls out of the ring and leaves through the crowd An enraged Machine steps over the top rope and begins to chase after Nightbane throught he crowd with Krauser not far behind. The camera zooms in on the book, and the cover reads "Book of the Dark Lights".] Harvey Schultz:: Well, I guess Nightbane is no longer a member of the Brotherhood... |
| Lumberjack Match: HaZe vs. Corleone |
|
Harvey Schultz:: Well, here come the Lumberjacks...or what's left of them. Pyro is at the hospital, getting stitched up. Machine and Nightbane are outta here. Chameleon is still in the back, getting his knee checked out. I guess he twisted something during his match with Zapf. That leaves Mandrake and NyGhtMaRe, the new Tag Team Champions, who are already in the ring, Steve Zapf, and Pest. [Steve Zapf slowly mingles down to the ring as Mandrake and NyGhtMaRe are already waiting on the outside of the ring. The theme from "The Godfather" starts up, and the crowd begins to cheer as the mobster, Corleone, comes out from the back. He stands at the beginning of the walkway for a moment with his chin in the air, then walks down to the ring.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, Cormier sure can't be pleased with this. Now, this match is in full favor of HaZe. There are absolutely NO Brotherhood members left in this arena. ["Painkiller Introduction" by Professional Murder Music kicks in, and the boos are echoing as the Heavyweight Champion heads out to the ring with his strap over his shoulder. Cormier is nowhere to be seen as HaZe stops halfway down the ramp, surveys the situation, then continues to the ring. HaZe crawls into the ring under the bottom rope, but is quickly attacked by the waiting Corleone. The bell rings, and the match is underway.] Harvey Schultz:: Things certainly aren't looking good for HaZe right now, and that's gotta be weighing on his mind heavily. J.J. Jackson:: Hey, here comes Pest! [All attention is turned to the entranceway as the last Lumberjack, Pest, walks out from the back with a smirk on his face. He stares at Mandrake, and the two intercept each other.] Harvey Schultz:: Pest and Mandrake see eachother, and the fight is on! At Outshined, we'll see which of these men is the real King of the Ladder Match! [Corleone locks on an armbar, but HaZe shoves Corleone of into the ropes and catches him in a sleeperhold. Corleone begins to fight the hold, and finally makes it to the ropes as Perry Daton forces HaZe to release the hold. HaZe goes after Corleone again, but the Italian catches him with a mule kick to the abdomen, doubling the Enlightened One over. Corleone backs up and boots HaZe in the ribs, then connects with a fistdrop, followed by a cover. 1...2..kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: Mandrake and Pest are really going at it outside the ring while NyGhtMaRe and Zapf watch on. Oh, Mandrake just threw Pest into the steel ringsteps! [Corleone pushes HaZe into the corner, then climbs the second turnbuckle and begins to punch him in the head.] Crowd:: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...! [HaZe grabs Corleone and walks out of the corner, then falls backwards, smashing Corleone's face into the top turnbuckle. HaZe then rolls up Corleone and puts his feet on the ropes for leverage. 1...2...NyGhtMaRe pushes HaZe's feet off the ropes, breaking up the count. HaZe turns around and begins yelling NyGhtMaRe, giving Corleone the opportunity to apply a blatant chokehold on HaZe from behind.
