Move Repertoire:
Finisher:
The Cheatboy
Finisher Description:
Dragon Breath followed by Schoolboy [pinning combination]. The Marquis spits a strange red mist out of his mouth, which blinds and stuns his opponent. When his opponent is dazed, he kicks him in the stomach and applies a lightning fast Schoolboy variant wherein he pins his opponent.
Signature Move:
The Mad Dagger
Signature Move Description:
The Mad Dagger is basically a variant of the Bronco Buster, only overtly sexual. The Marquis renders his opponent crumpled in the corner of the ring and pounces on him like a hooker in a vaudevillian satire. Instead of Bronco Busting, the Marquis gyrates his pelvis into his opponents face rendering his victim utterly disgusted and confused. If his opponent is already knocked unconscious, then the act appears even more vile, for it always lasts a few second longer than it should, and the Marquis is usually “too into it” – even the audience should be revolted by this move which is nothing more than a testimony to the Marquis’s insanity and sexual deviancy.
Five Favorite Moves:
1. The Mandible Claw – wherein the attacker places his two middle fingers under his opponent’s tongue and renders the body ineffectual. The marquis has never used this move as a finisher; he only uses the hold so that he can move up on his victim erotically. If the move is successful, the Marquis exhibits his madness by becoming so enamored with his opponent that he releases the move and moves on to other things…or is pounded into the mat by his now conscience and outraged opponent.
2. Nerve Hold – wherein the attacker pinches the shoulder tendon of his victim ala Dr. Spock and incapacitates limb usage. The Marquis uses this move because it allows him to sneer and make faces at the audience.
3. Picking the Purse – in moments of desperation, the Marquis is known to cheat in a contemptible manner. With no regard for the rules, Mister Fistopholes applies the iron claw to the most forbidden area on his opponent’s body – that’s right, he grabs a hold of their nuts and squeezes until he is either disqualified or disenchanted. The move has won as many matches as it has lost and has received as much jeering as it has laughter. When the Marquis “picks the purse,” he usually makes sure the ref is not looking, but many times he has been caught and disqualified. Picking the purse is utterly frowned upon, and that’s the primary reason the Marquis’s prefers it.
4. The Atomic Drop – the Marquis adores this move because he likes to watch his opponent hop around the ring clutching his bottom. It always makes him giggle.
5. The Tripled Frog Splash Variation – when the Marquis performs his variant of the frog splash he kicks his legs [expands his body like a frog] three times. It is a remarkable display of the Marquis’s physical agility, but typically hurts him more than it hurts his opponent. The Marquis doesn’t perform his tripled variant of the Frog Splash because it works; he performs it because he likes to show off. He usually pays for his arrogance with a great deal of pain to his own abdomen.

Background:
The Mad Marquis isn’t “mad” because he’s angry; he’s “mad” because he’s insane – like the Mad Hatter in the Marquis de Sade’s sick version of “Alice in Wonderland.” His peculiarity stems from his divided personality, for he is both a well-spoken aristocrat with a penchant for poetry and music, and also a deviant sociopath hell-bent on asexuality and fetishism. Little is known about the Marquis’s background expect that he was recently released from a Paris Mental Asylum where he was being held for disturbing the peace through acts of public exhibitionism. The Marquis is a remarkable intelligent scholar, but cursed with psychologically debilitating illness which destroys his inhibitions. He slips in and out of madness often – one second you’re talking to a debonair, suave, upper-crust, bourgeoisie man, the next second you’re stunned by his incomprehensible sexual and violent madness. When he is the Marquis de Fistopholes, he is an intriguing unruffled individu! al who schemes methodically to destroy you; when he is the “Mad Marquis,” he is overwhelmed by the stark desire to destroy himself.

Essentially, the Mad Marquis is two people, both of whom are self-centered and arrogant; neither of whom cares for the well being of another living soul… The Marquis is a mad nobleman / jester who slips in out of his dual personality as erratically as bi-polor woman going through menopause. He is all at once a scholar and a demon, possessed by insolence, rudeness, and humour. His eyes are wild, and his desires are unchecked. He will stop at nothing to gain glory and fame.

The Marquis is not small wrestler who relies on his love of pain to win matches. He takes no heed in destroying his body; jumping from distances never before thought of – he is almost suicidal. He also takes a great interest in the human anatomy, and knows every pressure point on the human body, so he can sometimes take down a giant with just two fingers.

Description:
Marquis de Fistopholes is the bastard amalgamation of a court jester from the middle ages, a nobleman of the feudal system, and the gimp from Pulp Fiction. He is a small wrestler compared to the heavyweights, but he can contend because he has no regard for his body; it is obvious because his teeth are knurled, he is missing a huge chunk of his left ear, and his nose is so far crooked to the left he has to pinch his nostrils in the shower to keep from drowning. His eyes are as wide and vacant as a schizophrenic puppy dog; he hair is unkempt and wild under his white; his costume is dirty and tattered. Despite his physical meekness, the Mad Marquis is a good-looking man – in a Mephistophelean sort of way – his face has the chiseled appearance of the Joker in a pack of Bicycle Cards. Sometimes he wears make-up, usually white and red, and not clownish, but the make-up that a 17th century aristocrat would wear. His wig is Nathan Hale-like, or Mozart-like, from “Amadeus.” Although his clothes are old, and obviously worn out, they are still colorful and captivating. His outfits are so extravagant it’s hard to see the man – imagine what Liberace would wear if Liberace was homeless. The Mad Marquis sometimes can be seen in leather straps, prancing around backstage like a schoolgirl at a Baskstreet Boys concert. Every movement he makes is strange and eerily erotic, over the top, but hardly dull. It is as if he is trying to enchant you; he has the grace of a boardwalk gypsy. But he is also erratic… and sometimes so wild that he talks in a blur. His face becomes like rubber and the Self disappeared into his madness.

=====================

Entrance Description: The Mad Marquis is always the split personality, so in essence, he has two entrances which are similar in their mood, but not their performance. The lights brighten, there are multiphasic lasers of various shades of pink and yellow, and the music [which is circus-like] kicks in. If he is coming out of the back as the Marquis de Fistopholes, he is often composed, many times carried on the backs of beautiful slave girls. If he appears as the Mad Marquis, he is unpredictable and crazy, bouncing around and flaying his limbs like a kid with autism. The Mad Marquis’s entrance is always strange and disturbing, he uses balloons or sparkling gold-dust; he flips and leaps about like a hysterical gymnast / exhibitionist. When he is the Marquis de Fistopholes, he is more composed, but usually over-the-top in his performance. He walks to slow [when he’s not being carried out on the backs of S&M gimps and leather slaves] and he takes in the electricity of the crowd as if it were his lifeblood. He has sometimes been known to come to the ring riding on a pale white horse name Milton, waving the French flag or sipping at a cup of English tea. He is altogether European, with the wit of an Englishman, the pompousness of a Frenchman, and the oddness of a German.
