| Josh McCool grew up in Oregon, and was an All-State football player and wrestler under the tutelage of Russell Ziset, who would later move on to the AWA himself. As a popular member of the team, McCool had several run-ins with Ziset as he represented the view of the team, including one famous altercation involving an injury that Ziset saw as letting the team down. He went on to attend the University of Oregon for a term before making his move into the world of professional wrestling, becoming the youngest wrestler in the AWA. He quickly amassed a 10-0 record, including a victory over Ziset in a retirement match, before the original AWA folded, then made his way to the Southeast Wrestling Federation, where he was a franchise player and title holder before his run was ended due to disagreements with the rumoredly corrupt administration. He has since been earning his degree and waiting for the right moment to make his glorious return to the ring. |
| "Son of a Bitch" Josh McCool morphed from a very unassuming appearance to a truly intimidating and confident appearance. He either wears a T-Shirt and tearaway pants or a pair of wrestling trunks with the decal "S.O.B., Inc." emblazoned on the back. He is strongest in a standard match, but can endure a high amount of pain and will have an advantage in most any match he's involved in. Likely the most intelligent and technically sound man in the AWA. Sprawling across his back and down his arms to the elbow is a huge, all-black tattoo, save for tribal symbols left undone in the blackness. He wears thick hoop earrings in each ear and is slightly tan, with arms that could likely snap tree trunks and a shaved head which only adds to the intimidation factor. McCool is brash and if you think you are on his level, you will be informed otherwise. |
| The arena goes silent; then, when that first guitar riff from Hair of the Dog plays, the crowd goes banana for "Son of a Bitch" Josh McCool. The S.O.B. bounds out from the back, microphone in hand, moving with the music, and makes his way to the ring. When the song reaches the chorus, the song states, "Now you're messin' with a..." and the crowd yells along "a SON OF A BITCH!" The Son of a Bitch in question removes his shirt and begins to speak. |
