| Prior to his entrance into the world of professional wrestling,
Arkham McKinley's past is unavailable. He first came onto the radar using his
current moniker at a couple small independent federations based out of
northeastern Kentucky. They eventually folded, which is when he moved to the
HWA under his given name Arkham and met Billy Sadistic for the first time. They
had little interaction in that particular fed, but it was there that the seeds
were planted for their future rivalry. Mandrake has hopped from federation from federation ever since, including stints in the EWA, SWF, and the AWA's earlier incarnation, all with varying levels of success. His violent feud with Sadistic came to a head under the guidance of Haze during their last stay in the SWF (see Billy Sadistic's Bio), and he has stepped back into the AWA ring for what he hopes will be the final time. |
| Mandrake is a wiry fellow with an athletic build instead
of the bloated muscle-bound physique common to those in the profession. Wild,
thick, and curly, his red hair seems to have a mind of its own unless it is
pulled up into a ponytail on top of his head. His goatee is braided into a
trident and held in place by beads that change according to the seasons.
Freckles are scattered here and there, and pale blue eyes bore through those who
oppose him. Mandrake comes to the ring decked out in black boots, dark green or dark brown cargo pants, and various pirate-related T shirts.. He always wears two rings, whether he’s in the ring or out and about. One plain silver ring sits on the ring finger of his left hand, and a black ring with silver wave etchings is on the ring finger of his right hand. |
| Strobe lights begin to flicker in the entryway as Alice in Chains’ ‘Again’ (Tattoo of Pain Mix) erupts from the speakers. Mandrake steps out to bask in the light and shadows, head bowed, arms limp, with rogue strands of dripping hair hanging in his face. He takes it all in for a few moments before making the long walk to the ring, ignoring the fans along the way while Layne Staley and company continue their serenade. Mandrake steps up onto the apron and slides in between the ropes. Hopping up onto a turnbuckle, he casts his gaze out over the crowd with his arms at his side, eyes shifting to take in the sheep that flock to him week after week. The Kill Devil Hills Daredevil steps down and waits. |
