Born and raised outside Dallas Texas, Jerry was quick to learn his
ways around a rifle and a mug of beer. At the ripe age of 12, he killed himself
his first buck and soon afterwards became fascinated with hiding in bushes to
scare the living hell out of fellow classmates. After graduating from high
school Jerry enlisted in the military and during his 8 years of service fought
in Vietnam. During the war he developed an almost schizophrenic personality
that up to today gives him frequent flashbacks.
Because of his love for fighting he begin wrestling in 1998 and in 2001 joined
the now revived AWA to become one of only three Heavyweight Champions ever and
the only Television Champion in AWA history. Although he is frequently
backstage chatting with people about various subjects, he frequently over
exaggerates his Vietnam experiences. Because of his age he has recently been
training his son and predecessor Rich in his basement which the family refers to
as “The Pit.” Jerry has two sons Rich and Jerry Jr. (known as Junior during his
wrestling stint with the SWF) and a step son by the name Skynard. Although
Junior is a more experienced wrestler, Jerry feels that Rich has more to offer
the wrestling business because of his charismatic personality. And while
Skynard is a specimen and as strong as ten OX, Jerry does not believe a stepson
can carry on his heroic lineage. |
