Thoughts on designs
The tail surfaces need to be larger than theory..<g>
The AeroDesign 2000 entry that did perfect Triple-Axels on every
takeoff could have used a mere 10 square inches more vertical..
Vertical area doesn't hurt you!
The illustrated construction has worked for decades.. it's easy
to build, light and stiff..
It will work with an elevator, or can be used as a flying
stabilizer with the proper hinge points.
