I Am God

I would never be so bold as to declare myself a deity. In fact, I would never be so bold as to call anyone or anything a deity. Let's look at that statement, though, objectively. Or is it subjectively? I'll let you decide as I explain further.

All things are equal. Not all men, women and children, but all *things*. We are no better or no less than, say, a simple rock, just as the rock is not better or no less than we (us/we meaning the group of intelligent beings, homo sapien). Or anything. Rocks, birds, trees, planets, man, woman, ameoba. *ALL* things.

Now onto the part where I call myself god. Yes, I am god. But, so are you. And that tree, and rock (this said in the presumption that all things have a soul and are consciencely away of there environment). Now wait, don't jump to conclusions. We are not god, as in we are all god together, and we are not gods, as in we are all an innumerable panteon of equal power. I am god, you are god, it is god. Let me clarify that...

Perception. That is all it 'boils down to'. Perception. We are gods of our own perception. We control what we know, what we don't know, what we believe in, what we disagree with. In one's perception, things aren't known until you learn about them. If a person has never heard of Paris, never heard anyone talk of it or speak its name, Paris would not exist to them. They would have no way of knowing such a concept as Paris existed, until they were told or read about or saw it.

In the same vein of thought, perception is subjective and, obviously, unique from person to person to thing. Let us consider this. An item we are taught to recognise as a chair is introduced to two infants. The parents, teachers, friends, relatives, etc. of Infant A teach it that it is a chair. That infant goes on to see that item as a chair. Now, Infant B is that item is called a burrito. Don't misunderstand me. The child isn't lead to believe it is a delicious Mexican treat. It is simply taught to call the object "burrito". Now, as the child matures and grows, in its perception it is a burrito, while to Infant A (and the rest of us), it is known as "chair".

Perception, although independant and unique and the only truth and constant in life, it is codependant on one's surroundings. Without the influence of environment, perception would be all ignorance (thought they say ignorance is bliss!) and self-discovery.

Adversely, perception is positively independant. If one choses not to believe in, to totally ignore and disregard something, then that something does not exist in their perception.

Considering all things said, I AM GOD. I hope you understand what I am trying to say, and that you too may be able to say 'I Am God'.
