Fry's Update
In case you haven't heard already, yes Fry's Grand Opening is on July 2,2004 starting at 9AM. a few more tidbits will be posted later toinght..such as pics of the store :D

Fry's will continue their soft open thru the following week. business has been very good. Fry's hours are 10am-7pm. These are hours are not set in stone though.

DG Update
ITS THE WEEKEND!!!! WOOHOOOO. those who are at COD have had finals all week and now we can enjoy summer! With summer what goes better than ICE CREAM... YUMMY!!! On that note we have DG's own Everyday's a Sundae having their Grand Reopening this sundae at 1PM!
their hours are as follows :
Summer Hours: Monday -Saturday-11 am to 10:30 pm. Sunday- Noon to 10 pm

For those interested in some good ice cream, and who isn't, Everydays a sundae in downers grove closes its doors today temporarily. they will be moving to their new location. You ask where is their new location, in the brand spanking new Station Crossing(for pics click link) building on the north side of the tracks, just east of Main St. I don't have the exact address of yet, but to find out more info about the move etc, check out the Downers Grove" section of the website

Looks like the COD computer show has moved for this month due to the Basketball tourney @ COD. This is taken from the email sent to me :
THIS SUNDAY, March 28 at the Truman College in Chicago, Illinois
NEW LOCATION
The College of DuPage is hosting a basketball tournament this month, so for the month of March, The Great Midwest Computer Show will be held at Truman College, which is located at 1145 West Wilson Avenue, (corner of Wilson & Broadway) Chicago, Illinois. We return to COD in April.

Many of the same vendors you know from our College of DuPage show will be at the March 28 show at Truman College as well as some new ones. Don't miss out on the show this month. Truman College is located only minutes from Wrigley Field. You can also take the CTA Train and get off at the Wilson Avenue Exit, only a 1/2 block from Truman College.
