I was tired of making conical nosecones they look so simple and boring, so I bought some fiberglass. The form I used was a water bottle that had a good shape and large enough diameter to fit into the rocket. It ended up being heavier than I wanted but it works and next time I will make the nose cone thinner. Fibergalss is a very solid material. Good thing too cause it has hit hard more than once.

I also made fins out of fiberglass which worked really well. As soon as I get a good recovery system and a good multi-bottle setup that can hold some high pressure I will make a nice rocket with fiberglass fins and nosecone.
