Medium: As Medium creatures, High Erruni have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
The High Erruni are an ancient, tradition-bound warrior race believed to be unique to Mori. High Erruni resemble very tall, pale-skinned elves, with many of the fine features that elves have. Their skin color is an entirely bloodless white that has occasionally resulted in their being mistaken for the undead. All High Erruni encountered thus far have been female. No explanation has ever been given for this. Unlike their Erruni cousins, High Erruni disdain other races and do not intermarry; there are no known instances of mixed children. Many High Erruni go so far as to extend this contempt to the blue-skinned Erruni, whom they refer to as "low Erruni."
High Erruni choose their leaders in accord with ancient tradition. These decisions are based not on martial prowess, as with most barbaric and monstrous humanoid cultures, or on diplomatic and oratory prowess, as is true of most demihuman cultures, but instead on the basis of complex and archaic codes of honor. Sages suspect that the High Errun honor code is not even fully understood by most High Erruni, and that only the elders and leaders of the race truly grasp its workings. However, suggesting this to a High Errun is apparently a grave insult, and has often resulted in a painful death for the speaker.
The High Erruni have a repuation throughout Mori for managing to appear both elegant and grimly efficient. Most who have had a chance to know them report that they are highly honorable, though a High Errun's idea of what is honorable differs greatly from that of other races.
