I have over 5 years of teaching experience, and a Master’s Degree in English, but I am not a certified teacher. I have taught mostly at high schools (Norra Real and Hersby Läroverk) and a folk högskola (Folkhögskolan, Sundbyberg), and have taught senior citizens, high school students and immigrants in both day and evening courses (KOMVUX) and in the form of study circles (ABF, 2001-2002, Träff 12:an). The subjects I taught were: computer science at several different levels and English. Enthusiasm, commitment, and clear structure are good teacher assets, in my estimation, so it is my goal to embody such. I have found teaching to be a very rewarding experience and enjoy private lessons as well as group lessons. In addition to having worked as a teacher, I have also worked as a computer network administrator and as a secretary and have several years experience of both fields. I went to Katharine Gibbs college for secretaries in the United States and can type 100 words per minute, as well as take stenography, keep financial records, archive material and other office skills. As a network administrator I am familiar with Windows (up to MCSE level) and Novell operative systems (up to the CNE level), all of the Office programs (I have an ECDL card), and much more.
