Wednesday, February 1,2006- Wow, I can believe how long it's been since I wrote anything in here. Well Happy New Year 2006! I've been playing alot of bass now over the past few weeks. I'm temporary playing bass for an up and coming local band. I haven't decided to be a permanate or not. It sure be a pretty decent band, the song lists is like watching classic VH1's totally 80's. So it should be alot of fun, I won't be growing a mullet or wearing ripped up jeans with spandex underneath but, everybody remembers all the music from high school and after.

Thursday, July 28,2005- Nothing really going on, sold a few pieces of gear, I saw Brett working at Wal-Mart but, i guess he could'nt talk because we hardly spoke at all. I think Ryan's now MIA 'cause I haven't spoke to him in a long time. I been stopping by Gary Steele's music store alot, just hanging out and talking about the good 'ole days. Other than that, that's about it. Oh yeah, about my high school reunion...nothing fancy, nothing really worth mentioning. Just your typical get together watching people drink.

Thursday, June 23,2005- It's been the same song and dance since my last entry. My highschool reunion is this weekend and I'm kinda looking forward to seeing some of my old friends and curious how some people will act. I can't believe it's been 15 years. If I take any pics I'll be sure to post them. Just a few days ago I really played the drum kit like I haven't done in awhile. It was almost like an arobic excercise with Richard Simmons. It just isn't the same playing without a guitar player though. I did have a jam session though with my little girl Rachael. We jammed for about 20 minutes I guess rockin' to the classic 80's. She wasn't a bad drummer for only being 3 years old. I've playing on a Les Paul custom copy made by Hondo. I was made in the mid 70's and it has the gibson lawsuit headstock. I changed the humbuckers out and it has a nice sound. I've been looking at alot of guitar gear on ebay and if I ever get anything new I'll write something new.

Tuesday, April 19, 2005- I've been tinkering with guitars alot over the past couple weeks. Mostly doing small repairs and changing parts out. I've been playing the Peavey 7 string alot. It has a really good sound coming out of the Peavey half stack. I changed strings on it and it seemed like it took forever. I've come up with a couple riffs, and I'm sure I'll forget them before I do anything with it or "put them down on tape". So something new to write about, not alot but there's some productivity going on.

Saturday,February 19, 2005- A few more months have gone buy and nothing has really been going on. I've gotten a few new pieces of equipment. The first is a vintage Ibanez PL-1660, a copy of a Randy Rhoads V. This was Gary Steele's guitar for an easy 15 years or so. He opened up a small music store and when he said it was up for sale, I just had to have it. It was kinda' sentimental in a way, the 2 of us played in a few bands together over a 10 year span. Another guitar I recently aquired was a Peavey Predator Plus TR-7. A 7 seven string with floyd rose. I'm not sure how long it was in production but, from I've read it was only a couple years, and alot of them was sent overseas to Europe and it's now no longer made. Other than getting new stuff, playing guitar here and there, and working on other guitars, nothing is happening. The same 'ol song and dance is starting to get alittle boring.

Tuesday, January 18, 2005- Another year has gone by and here we are. Nothing new has really been going on. No band to speak of, haven't heard from Ryan or Brett, so basically, I'm writing a bunch of nothings just because I haven't updated this place in about 2 months. I'm about ready to tear down my drum kit and put it away in the attic but I keep telling myself, as soon as I do that, something is going to come up. I have been thinking about making a lounge/game room out of the "band room", a decent pool table would definately be worth it.

Monday, November 29, 2004- Well, Thanksgiving is over with and Christmas is on it's way. I would love to be a kid again. I finally started messing with the guitar again and started learning new songs. I almost have "the ocean" from Led Zepplin down. I think I'm finally getting old because I've been drinking alot of coffee over the past few weeks, looking at semi-hollow body guitars, and I've put nearly all my band equipment in my attic above my music room. Either my age is finally sinking in, or I've finally realized, the band years is finally over. If anyone needs anything let me know, we can work something out.

Thursday, July 8, 2004- Not alot really going on. I get the bug of wanting to play and sometimes I pickup the guitar and play for about 20 minutes. Nothing really happening except I just bought a house! The closing date is August 8, 2004. So hopefully everything will be packed, unpacked, and set backup in a couple weeks. What a pain in the butt. I almost have the basement boxed up and ready to go. I'll have to take a pic of the basement when it's completely empty. Have a before and after pic. The bad news is that I don't have another basement to move the "band room" into. Instead it's a bedroom. So, I guess I can call it a studio! I have been looking into different programs and multi-track recorders. Hopefully something will happen soon!

Sunday, June 13, 2004- Well after a few months I decided to start up another web site and see how many people will actually look at it. There hasn't been alot going on. The Hamilton clan just celebrated Travis's 6th birthday! I haven't spoke to Brett in a very long time, and I still need to get the strat to him. I spoke to Ryan a few months about some gear. Other than that, I have no idea what's been going on. I haven't heard anything, and it's a shame because when the 3 of us get together there is a room full of talent...and that's not a fat joke! LOL
