| This positional spread is basically a
very simple one, the value of which lies in the precision and
order of its placements. The finished spread should look like
this, the cards being laid according to the numbers shown. In
this spread, the cards must be read in 'blocks' of four that are
interrelated by their nature, dealing as they do with factors that
are interactive in any business. These 'blocks' break up as in the
diagram.
Obviously, this method means that many of the cards must be
read twice or three times relative to various different subjects,
and it must therefore be remembered that it is the relationship of
one position to another that is important in this spread.
This will mean, of course, that both dignity and suit are vital
components of the spread, as is the principle of resonance and
dissonance, for it is these things that will establish the
nature of the relationship concerned and serve as the keys to
its complexities.
Any given card -- that representing 'marketing' for instance --
may be intensely positive in relationship to one 'block', and
indeed to two cards of a second 'block', while remaining
unequivocally negative to the remaining card of that second
'block'. Only dignity, suit, and resonance and/or dissonance will
enable the reader to identify these 'blackspots' in the spread,
and assess the reasons for their existence and their possible
potential for damage to the business as a whole. |
