Covington had 34 runs and 34 hits that included seven home runs as they crushed Rockville in a double header. In the first contest, the Trojans won 22-4 with, 11 of those runs in the seventh inning. Ryan Sowers was 4 for 5 with a home run, John went 2 for 3 with a dinger, Michael was 2 for 4 with a homer, Blake hit a home run, Andy went 2 for 6 and Matt was 2 for 4. Michael pitched the complete game, stricking out 14 to up his mark to 2-1 on the season. In the second game, Covington won in five innings 12-1 due to the 10 run rule. Steve was 4 for 4 with a home run and two RBI, Lynch went 3 for 3 with a home run, double and three RBI, Neil smacked one over the fence for a homer, Chris was 2 for 2 with three home runs scored and Ryan finished the day 8 for 9 for Covington. The Trojans will host North Vermillion on Tuesday.
