The Trojans were defeated at their home opener by the score of 17 to 10. Ryan gave up 8 runs 7 earned. The Trojans started out slow, and found them selves down 3 to nothing after the first inning. Covington rallied to pull within 6 in the bottom of the third. The Trojans had a 7 run inning in the bottom of the sixth before the game was called for darkness. T.H. South moved to 3-0 in the victory. It also marked the return of Rusty Goodwin who is a volunteer assistant coach for the Braves. Ryan went 2-3 at the plate hitting a home run and driving in 4 runs. Also excelling at the plate was John Mark going 1-2 with a double and 2 walks. The Trojans will face Benton Central at Bison stadium. Game time 5:00pm.
