To the Memory of my Dad and Mum
Born in 1908 this is my Dad (Alan) as a toddler ~ Born in 1912 this is my Mum (Jean) as a toddler
Like a lot of other men,
my Dad had a young family
when Australia became involved in WWII.
Here he is with Mum and my sister, Barbara.
Who was born in 1939.
Dad in Uniform before serving in Middle East ~ Mum as she was at that time
Dad cleaning up for Christmas Dinner, Palestine 1942. ~ Mum volunteered for Aust. Red Cross during War
"Waste Not ~ Want Not" that was the War Message.
My relatives help with Australia's cause.
My Dad fortunately returned home safely.
Family life slowly returned to 'normal'.
Well with a newborn baby, as 'normal' as can be. Yes this is when I came on the scene.

This is me as a toddler
Dad and Mum in their "best clobber" both loved fishing.
Dad retired from work because of ill-health. Sadly he passed away in 1979.
Mum entered hospital in 1986 due to ill-health. Sadly also she passed away 1993.
This is me at 19 years of age.
I enjoyed a wonderful happy childhood.
I love you and I miss you.
Thank You.
Now, I'm all grown up and making this Web Page to you both.
Because without you both, where would I be!
