Appearance: Kaie has long red hair and deep green eyes. She is
5'4", and appears to be in good athletic shape. When she's at work,
she keeps her hair in a tight bun at the nape of her neck and can
usually be found in a pair of slacks, a plain shirt, and a leather
jacket. On the weekend, she dons her jeans, hiking boots, and t-
shirts. She will dress up if the occasion demands it, but will
always look forward to dressing back down.
Personality: Kaie is very stubborn and fiercely loyal. She has a
very developed sense of honor, always keeping her word , even
if it means bending a few rules. She will not lie, no matter the
consequence. She takes a great pride in her honor, and has been
known to let loose her furious temper when someone doubts it. But
usually she manages to keep her "inner demons" in check. The
daughter of an Irish linguistics officer, and an American ambassador,
she has a working knowledge of politics, but shuns it ,
subconsciously blaming politics for her isolation as a child. While
she did learn the skills necessary to be an accomplished socialite,
Kaie prefers to keep a healthy distance from other people. She is
quiet, but not shy. If she feels strongly about a subject, she will
not only speak up about it, but will not let the subject go until she
has received adequate recognition for her opinion.
History: Kaie was born on October 31 in the United States, but grew
up in various countries as her father was assigned to different
stations. Her parents started her in school early, believing that in
their travels she would lose a year but she did not, and thus
graduated at the age of 17. Not wanting to be known only as "her
father's daughter," Kaie
took her mother's maiden name when she was 18 years old. She
enrolled in Central Washington University as a Military Technologies
major, graduating four years later, after having taken summer classes
to finish early. She was accepted into the FBI academy at Quantico
in January that same year. At the end of her first assignment, she
began training with the HRT. At age 23, she became a full, active
member of the HRT and was sent on several missions. When she was 24
years old, Kaie managed to piss off one of her superiors, and was
deactivated and transferred from the HRT to MegaTokyo She was
enraged to hear that the only reason she was not fired was because of
her father.
Family: She is the only child of Maureen Aithne Sterling and Garrett
Sterling. They are currently residing in the United States, her
father having retired from service. Her mother still works for the
Foreign Service, but at a desk job where they can stay in the
vicinity of Washington DC. While she does have other family, they
are mostly unfamiliar to her. The rest of her extended family lives
in Michigan.

Special abilities: She is great at blending into a crowd when she
wants to. Her mother passed on to Kaie her gift for languages and as
such, Kaie speaks English, Japanese, and French natively, and is
currently teaching herself Gaelic and Latin.

Strengths: Kaie is very stubborn. While this is normally viewed
negatively, it can also be used to benefit herself and those close to
her. She doesn't give up on anything, and if one thing doesn't work
out she will go about fixing the problem in another way. She is not
afraid of anyone
Weaknesses: Stubborn. Kaie does not take criticism very well,
although she tries. She reacts more than she acts, and is motivated
most quickly to action by her emotions. She also depends greatly on
her intuition, which has proven to be both a blessing and a curse.
She has little patience with people whom she considers to be "beyond
help."
