Things u should know about Venus
Come in, sit down, make yourself at home. Well hello all, i felt it was about time I updated my pitiful excuse of a page again. I am now studying at Manchester University, having gotten through the A level stage (at last). I'm halfway through my second year, and, as usual, my study habits leave others speechless (or more to the point, my lack of study habits)..
So anyway, would you like a cup of tea?? *hands out cups ot tea* I can now fill you in on what's been happening in my life. I still miss Dublin terribly, especially my wonderful friends (Trish, Elaine, Joy, Sarah...I miss u guys!!!), and of course, the wonderful kids I looked after (Shona, AJ, Maebh).
So anyway, here I am. I've made some really nice friends at Uni, Beth, Helen, Sarah, Lubna etc etc, and I'm still in Halls. This is mainly due to the fcat that I'm bone idle, and because I know I'm gonna spend quite a few years of my life paying bills...so why the hell would I want to start now by moving into my own dingy student dive?!?
I am still working at Blockbuster Video, which is pure madness. I have now spent time working in 5 stores, but most of my time has been spent at two. I still enjoy the job, after two years, but I'm glad I'm only part time, I think full time would be the end of me! One thing I have learned from this job is that that old adage is most definately true....Never, and I mean NEVER dip your pen in the office ink. Absolute disaster, please trust me on this, don't do a me, and try to prove this little bit of advice wrong. It is 100% correct. I had to learn the very very very hard way, lol.
I've had this page for 5 years now, and yes, u've guessed it, it's still "under construction", and it will be until the day angelfire delete it. I apologise to those who find my page an affront to the technological superhighway..but really...give me a break! I have no talent with computers, so let me live in ignorance of java and html and all that kinda stuff.
Just wanted to mention a very special friend of mine, Melissa, who has been sent off to a potentially very dangerous situation. Lissa, I love ya pal, I'm thinking of you every day. Be Safe. We all send our love.
The rest of the page is dedicated to all you people I met online, there are just far too many of you to mention. I hope you are all well, and I'm so glad I've met each and evey one of you!
