When my sister and I went to see this film, we went to the theatre. We were excited to see a movie with Marky Mark in it, and heard that it was scary. So, we go to sit down, and were quickly wrapped up in the plot. The entire audience was so thrilled that they were yelling at Reese's character (Nicole) to get away from him, and all of the people were hooting and screaming through th film. well, the movie wasn't scary, but it sure was breathtakingly well made. It had me frightened of men for a long time. David McCall (Wahlberg) finds himself enraptured with the young, innocent Nicole (witherspoon), and lays his claim on her. Nicole thinks everything is going well with her new boyfriend until things start happening that she can't explain to herself, much less her dad. Mark Wahlberg plays an extrememly evil villain and a convincing sicko. I give this film five out of five smiles. There is nothing unconvincing or dull about this film.
