Going Hiking With My Brothers
On Thursday, my brothers took me and my other brothers hiking. We hiked to Feather Falls. While my brother was driving I saw a red squirrel climbing a tall, green tree.
When we got there we saw a pond. So we took a dip in its freezing blue, cold water. The sun was as bright as yellow sunflowers and the sky was as bright as blue water. When we stopped swimming we changed our clothes and we started to hike, but first we ate our breakfast. Our breakfast was a ham sandwich. When we finished eating we started to hike. During our hike we had to jump from rock to rock. My brother almost slipped off a rock, because it was loose. I saw a fish swimming around the rock I was standing on. Then we hike on and went through the river. We started to walk through a trail in the woods where my brother saw a dead mouse in the middle of the trail. He kicked it off the trail.
Finally, we got to the waterfall. When we found the river I put my feet in the shallow water. Then we ate dinner. After eating we hiked 3.5 miles to our car. When we got to our house, my feet were numb. But, I had a good time at Feather Falls.
