OVERVIEW: Nabiki is considered a minor character in the Ranma 1/2 series, but the show would not be the same without her. Nabiki is mostly known for her harsh extortion prices and her blackmail. Nabiki is always looking for a chance to make a few yen; whether it be by selling pictures of girl-Ranma to Kuno or by helping out Ranma a little and charging him a lot. However, if you get past all of this (and there isn't way too much left after that), Nabiki is just an average Japanese female. She enjoys tennis, studying, and hanging out with her friends. Nabiki is a very clever (sometimes coniving) and attractive girl who just wants to make a yen or thirty-thousand.
HISTORY: Nabiki was first seen in the very first episode of Ranma 1/2. She was very anxious to meet Ranma and she was hoping to be engaged to him. However, whenever Nabiki found out Ranma was a female (by poking at her chest), Nabiki lost interest in Ranma. Nabiki isn't seen much in the show unless Happosai is hitting on her (and she's hitting him) or she is extortioning someone. However, Nabiki has a rather large role in the episode "Extra, Extra! Kuno and Nabiki: Read All About It!". Kuno and Nabiki a couple? After this, Kuno starts to find himself more and more interested in Nabiki, which adds her more to the show. FIGHTING STYLE: Nabiki's fighting style can be compared to that of a spider. The spider waits patiently for a dumb insect to fly into it's trap. The spider decorates the web to look invisible, like nothing bad is there. Then, when the insect realizes that it is stuck in a web of death, the spider attacks and kills. Nabiki waits patiently for dumb investors (most usually Ranma and Kuno) to come to her with a problem. Nabiki, like the spider, then constructs a nice-sounding deal where the recipient gets everything that they need for a low price. Then, the victim realizes that they are like an insect, stuck in Nabiki's web of extortion. Then, like the spider making its kill, Nabiki ups the interest!
ATTACKS: COMPACT INTEREST INCREASE ATTACK:
In this deadly attack, Nabiki makes a deal with a recipient
and then increases the interest dramastically, totally
bankrupting the victim.
BLACKMAIL ATTACK: This attack usually requires
a camera or a stolen letter. This attack consists of
Nabiki threatening to show off a picture or telling a
secret about a person unless they give her something
that she wants (9 times out of 10 it's money).
