Fode and Beed are the active announcers who
provide the coverage of the Mos Espa Pod-
races. This duo may belong to one body, but
they have separate minds and personalities.
Fode's face has red skin; he speaks in Basic
during Podraces. Beed, Fode's counterpart,
contributes Huttese commentaries at the events;
he is the one who bares a green-skinned face.
Both Fode and Beed are friendly individuals who
are well versed in the sport of Podracing. The
duo can distinguish virtually all the major
Podracers and their vehicles. They also know
every aspect of the treacherous Mos Espa course.
