Hosea

1.1  Hosea to shew Gods iudgement for spirituall whoredome, taketh Gomer,

1.4  and hath by her Iezreel,

1.6  Lo-ruhamah.

1.8  and Lo-ammi.

1.10  The restauration of Iudah and Israel.

2.1  The idolatrie of the people.

2.6  Gods iudgements against them.

2.14  His promises of reconciliation with them.

3.1  By the expiation of an adulteresse,

3.4  is shewed the desolation of Israel before their restauration.

4.1  Gods iudgements against the sinnes of the people,

4.6  and of the priests,

4.12  and against their idolatrie.

4.15  Iudah is exhorted to take warning by Israels calamitie.

5.1  Gods iudgements against the Priests, the people, and the princes of Israel for their manifold sinnes,

5.15  vntill they repent.

6.1  An exhortation to repentance.

6.4  A complaint of their vuntowardnesse, and iniquitie.

7.1  A reproofe of manifold sinnes.

7.11  Gods wrath against them for their hypocrisie.

8.12.12  Destruction is threatned for their impietie,

8.5  and idolatrie.

9.1.  The distresse and captiuitie of Israel, for their sinnes and idolatrie.

10.1  Israel is reproued and threatned for their impietie and idolatry.

11.1  The ingratitude of Israel vnto  God for his benefits.

11.5  His iudgement.

for the wayes of the LORD are right, and the iust shall walke in them:

but the transgressours shall fall therein.
