March 21, 1999 - We won tickets for this night and knew our seats were awesome so we were already psyched about that!! We found out what hotel they were going to be at (on accident) so we went there and waited in the lobby...FOREVER! After waiting there we gave up and went back to the car. We had something to eat and decided to check the arena cuz we thought we'd run into them at sound check. So, we walk over there and there is 2 girls that say "Nick is about to come out." So about 2 seconds later, Jeff comes out with Justin. So, we had just seen them 2 days ago and they noticed us and walked right over and said "Hi, wassup"....then they had to get into the van....We ran to the window and opened our banner they had signed...Jeff looked at it and pointed, smiled, and gave us a thumbs up. Then we figured they'd go back to the hotel so we left to run there before the van got there. We got there and while walking there we turned and saw Drew & Nick getting into the van, oh well we didn't really care we just wanted to get to the hotel before everyone else. So, we got there and then they got out of the van. Nick then came up and was like "Hi, wassup"...my sis took a pic of him waving at us....she actually TALKED to Justin this time. *lol* She even got a pic of him!....Then we saw Drew and Jeff and said hi again. After that we went into the hotel by sneaking in...because they had locked the front doors so nobody could get in while they were in the lobby. We went in and waited for them to come down. Anyways we made out another letter for them and my sis snuck upstairs and then ran into the hotel security who was telling all the girls to get out and they weren't coming out again that they were gonna sneak them to the arena. The guy called her over and she said "i just want them to have this letter" and he said hang on. He came back and kept being a jerk to others and pulled her to the side near the elevator and put his arm around her so nobody could see...not even me!...He told her he gave it to their bodyguard and didn't really know if he was escorting 98º to the arena but he said he'd probably see them that night but he wasn't sure so he just gave them the letter for her. So, we decided we would just leave and go to the concert and we did and it was AWESOME! We held our banner up a few times and they noticed us and it was just one of the best nights!! After the concert, we went back to the hotel and met Jessica Simpson (the opening act)....we took pics with her and shes SUPER nice and we met her dancers....Heather and Ashlee. Ashlee is her little sister and Heather is her good friend. They were super cool and joked with me about my shirt cuz it had 98º on it (pix from meeting them) and they said "hey we should wear those on stage!".....so anyways, after that our fun was over. We went to walk back to the car and saw the van there that 98º was in so we sat on a planter type thing near it...the driver came out and started rummaging through the back of the van. Eventually he came out and said "who's the bigger 98º fan"..obviously we both said "MEEEEEE" so my sis said "well actually we are sisters it doesnt matter" and he handed me a huge poster still rolled up. When we opened it...it was the Canadian Tour promotional poster with all the dates and everything listed on it and it was signed!!!!! We were so happy and he just waved at us as he pulled away.
