PHS DIESEL TECHNOLOGY
Diesel Technology is a vocational class offered by Portage Township Schools. The class instructor is, Mr John Goldschmidt. On satisfactory completion, of this two year course, our students are prepared for post secondary technical college entrance. Some students opt for immediate employment as a result of this training.
DIESEL TECH CURRICULUM
Electrical Systems, Starting Systems, Charging Circuits, Engine Disassembly and Diagnosis, Engine Asembly, Lubrication Systems, Cooling Systems, Air Intake Systems, Exhaust Systems, Diesel Fuel Injection Systems, Engine Brakes, Clutches, Truck Brake Systems, Air Brake Servicing, Mechanical Brake System and Suspension Systems.
