We're back! Sarah, Lydia, and I just returned from Texas where we
finalized our adoption on June 19, 2000. The whole court proceedings took five minutes. We traveled so far for
such a short time, but it was very worth it.
While in Texas, we saw a few sights, but what we really enjoyed was the
opportunity to visit our adoption agent. It was nice to see her again and take her out to lunch. Sarah and I highly
recommend Hope International to anyone who is considering adoption. They are great!
Sarah and I are having Lydia dedicated this Sunday at church. It is going to be very nice
because my father and his wife are going to be down visiting. Yeah!
Sarah and I are greatly looking forward to seeing everyone at the RMI reunion. We hope to be
in on Friday night, and we would love to see anyone else who may be there.
Finally, congratulations to the Bangerts who just finalized their adoption in Hawaii. Also, to my sister and
brother-in-law who live in Illinois on the birth of their second child, Grant Carl Patterson.
