Welcome to an arab Slang’ 98. It was great pleasure in writing this compilation, hope it will be the same in reading it..
The ‘an arab slang’ 98 will guide you to nearly the same slang which is used in the streets in the Arabian Gulf.
‘the slang’ is like the ‘Alfa bravo Morris’ language. Some words are already known in Europe & America - same meaning and pronunciation , while other words - same pronunciation but different in meaning.
Some Americans & Europeans who speak the English language in the Gulf , wish to understand the Arabic language , but unfortunately most of them skip classes after they attend the first two week course !! Why ? Most of the courses are in Arabic, perhaps the old Arabic style, which unfortunately looks like the old Shakespeare tongue.
It’s normal that after you visit the Gulf countries , you'll find a big difference between the local Gulf language , and the Arabic mother language. The Gulf people don't deal with the Arabic mother language anymore.
thank God who help write the ‘Slang’, hope that it will reformat your mind and prepare you to understand the Arabic language in a way that they will feel very comfortable with (by using words you already know, so you do not have to learn new words in the beginning, just use words and alphabets you already know, to speak Arabic sentences). Also, hope that it will speed up the learning curve to learning a great language like Arabic.
