FESTIVE EGG SQUARES- ??: A Front Porch Chef
Ingredients:Directions:
1 pound bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained
4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup sliced green onions
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
1-1/4 cups buttermilk baking mix (like Bisquick)
12 eggs
1 cup milk
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Layer the sausage, mushrooms, green onions, tomatoes, and cheese in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
Beat together the remaining ingredients and pour over other layers in pan.
Cook uncovered in a 350 degree oven until golden brown and set, about 30 minutes.
Cut into 12, 3-inch squares. Serves 12.
Note: Recipe can easily be halved.

Baked Cheese, Egg and Ham Breakfast Casserole -Kateo: A Front Porch Chef
Ingredients:Directions:
8 slices white bread-trim crusts
1 1/2 C sharp cheddar cheese, grated
3 eggs
1/2 C swiss cheese, grated
1 1/2 C milk
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp dry mustard
1 slice of ham (uncooked)and cut into chunks
Butter 1 side of 4 slices of bread generously.
Line the bottom of an 8x8 pan with buttered bread, butter-side down.
Put the chunks of ham on top of the bread inb the pan.
Sprinkle half of the cheese on top of ham.
Put the last four slices of bread on top of cheese and ham.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on bread.
Beat eggs slightly - add milk, nutmeg, pepper and mustard.
Pour over the bread, ham, and cheese.
Place in refrigerator - overnight.
Bake 45-60 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Recipe is easily doubled and put in 9x13 pan.

Note: Kateo suggests putting it all together on Christmas Eve,
then baking Christmas morning while everyone opens their gifts!

Chicken Wings- Aunt Bea: A Front Porch Chef
Ingredients: Directions:
30 wing pieces
1 T butter
1 sm onion (sliced)
1/2 C catsup
1/4 C vinegar
1 T worcestershire sauce
1/2 t tabasco sauce
1/2 t paprika
1 t celery salt
1 t prepared mustard
1-12 T sugar..(to taste).
Put butter in a 2-cup glass measuring cup, melt in microwave
Add onions and sautee' for 3 minutes, at medium power.
Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook for 5 minutes at HIGH power
or until slightly thickened.
Marinate wings in this bbq sauce for an hour or more, in the refrigerator.
Place 15 wing pieces on a microwave meat tray,
covering with a paper towel and cook for 12 minutes at HIGH power.
Repeat with remaining wing pieces.
For the microwave!

Oriental Chicken Wings- Aunt Bea: A Front Porch Chef
Ingedients:Directions:
2 lbs chicken wings, split
1 T salt
2 T soy sauce
3 T sherry
2 large cloves garlic, minced
1 T worcestershire sauce
1 t chinese 5 spice
1 T thick soy sauce
2 qts vegetable oil
Mix ingredients together and marinate chicken for 1 hour, in the refrigerator.
Heat oil to 350 degrees. ...deep fry wings until they float to the top.
Drain excess oil
Mix wings in sauce until covered
