Old Fashioned Jelly Roll (cont.)
Directions:Directions (cont.):
Sift flour once ...
combine the baking powder,
salt and eggs in a bowl
(not the egg shells silly).
Place over smaller bowl of hot
water and beat it (like M Jackson's song :o)
Add sugar gradually until mix gets thicker and light colored.
Remove bowl from hot water
Fold in flour and vanilla.
Put in (15x10 inch) pan - greased already
(silly), lined with paper to within 1/2 inch of edge and greased again!
Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-15 min.
When you take it out - quickly cut off 'crisp edges'
Turn pan, at once, onto cloth that is covered with powdered
sugar (be sure to remove paper too).
Spread with that 'delicious leftover Cranberry Jelly'
(or other jelly) and roll it.
Wrap in cloth and cool on a cake rack.
All that remains is to 'slice and serve' :o) [yummy]

2 cans of cherry pie filling
(or any other kind you might like)
1 yellow cake mix
2 sticks of margarine
cinnamon to taste
1 can chopped pecans
Dump pie filling into a 13X9 pan.
Then dump cake mix (dry) on top.
Melt margarine and pour over top of cake mix
(try to make sure the cake mix gets moist)
then sprinkle cinnamon on top
dump 1 cup of pecans on top. Place in a cold oven and set temperature to 350 degrees and cook for 30 minutes after oven reaches 350 or until top is brown and crusty. Serve warm with a good vanilla ice cream.

This is kind of like a cobbler but wonderful!!!
I've used peach and apple also and both are great.
I also used blackberry but left off the cinnamon.
